Three Blissful Years

Today marks our 3 year anniversary. The last 3 years have been the happiest years of my life! When I say I have found my perfect match, I really mean it and I even have the science to back it up! Before Micah and I got married I took this long personality test called Meyers and Briggs or the Jung personality test. Out of 16 personality types, (or something close to that number) Micah's personality type was my ideal match. Now, is that a coincidence? I know it isn't. It's by divine providence that the perfect guy for me just so happened to sit next to me at church several years ago and has never left my side since!

Couples Retreat

We head to the beach every chance we can. As a couple, that is our favorite retreat. A couple friend of our's invited us to go with them to the beach and of course we jumped on board! We shopped, sun-bathed, and ate at an awesome seafood buffet with all you can eat crab legs. We had a blast especially due to the pleasant and fun company! I enjoy my husband's company very much and it is great when it is just me and him, but sometimes additional company can be fun and refreshing. It is a treat to travel with friends and family and we look forward to it.

(And speaking of couples, these lovebirds had a little date on our porch! It was the cutest thing! They would not budge from that spot for a good long time  even when Micah went in and out of the house.)

The Best Of Times

I don't talk alot about my love life often enough on this blog which is a shame really because it is one of the most fulfilling aspects in my life. I am not an extremely private person but I am not the type that hangs my dirty laundry in public either. But I do want the world to know that I am very happily married and no, it's not because I am a newly-wed. I really am not, we've been married 2 1/2 years and have known each other for almost 5 years. It's because we just enjoy each other's company and are really each other's best friend.
Yes, we've got a long way to go still but our time together has flown by. But that's what happens when you are having a good time! With that being said here are some pics from enjoying a lovely weekend. Yesterday we went to Busch Gardens in Virginia for the 3rd year in a row as a Halloween tradition (Micah's idea of fun). On our way back home today we stopped at President John Tyler's home and explored the grounds and took pictures (my idea of fun). I hope you had a great weekend too =)

Better Together

Some pictures we quickly snapped today before the Saturday sun went down. Taken at a random and hidden little park in the woods in our neighborhood. We usually take walks around this area and this time our cat followed us all the way there. He makes some special appearances in some of the photos. Hope you are having a great weekend! Stay tuned!
