I'm hooked on studio photos because of it's convenience. When I get the trigger itch, I just run up the stairs to our bonus room and I've got my little makeshift studio waiting for me. I would have done this a long time ago but I'm stubborn and loyal to outdoor photos. But the cold weather has kept me banned from the outdoors and so I caved in. Maybe studio photos aren't always so tacky aferall!
To set up for these "studio" portraits, all I did was buy a $5 black blanket from Wal Mart, pinned it to the wall, and used a stool from the garage. I'm still playing around with studio photo ideas...these are some self-portraits that I took this evening. The dress is from a local boutique in my town by some unknown brand.
